Stresses that communication between whistle-blowers and EU institutions and agencies must be strengthened; considers that complaints from citizens must be treated fairly and with respect and there should be a regular stream of contact from the EU institution or agency dealing with the complaint to the whistle-blower with regular updates on the case;
