Regrets the fact that efforts to mainstream the SDGs across EU policies have not matured beyond a mapping exercise and previous European Parliament resolutions as well as Council conclusions on the SDGs have not been implemented by the Commission; recalls that many EU internal policies not only contribute to the implementation of the SDGs, but also have a very high ecological, social and economic spillover impact on developing countries, vulnerable groups and populations including poor people, women and migrants; calls for sustainable development to be prioritised at every stage of the policy development process, and for all dimensions of sustainable development to be systematically considered in all impact assessments; recalls for enhancing the dialogue between the Council and the Commission with the shared goal of further advancing SDG implementation;
