Calls on Member States to work with the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) and civil society to design a European strategy for the promotion of SRHR, and support the elaboration and implementation of comprehensive national strategies for sexual and reproductive health; suggests that the EIGE be empowered to collect and analyse data and best practices; notes that more studies are needed to understand the problems of incorporating sexual and reproductive health prevention and treatment programmes into the basic health care systems;
