Calls on the Member States to adopt clear definitions of ‘family members’ for LGBTI families and to review laws and practices with a view to preventing discrimination of intersex peopleonsiders that the neutral and respectful of the national options approach proposed with regard to civil status by Directive 2000/78/EC should be preserved and strengthened and the text shall not apply to matters covered by family law, including civil status and the benefits that derive from it;
