Calls for greater synergies of European Structural and Investment Funds programmes with European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) and other financial instruments to leverage additional financing, as well as for greater complementarities with the other Union programmes; in that context supports the EFSI extension until 2020, while stressing that ESIF and EFSI are complimentary but not interchangeable;
