Calls on the Member States to develop the microfinance sector, so as to enable it to be expanded, which is necessary in order for the Union’s objectives under the Europe 2020 Strategy to be attained, and to make use of the Facility, by investigating possibilities for non-bank intermediaries to enter the microcredit market without depending on a partnering bank;
