3. Considers it essential that EUSAIR contribute to the EU accession process of the South East Europe countries by addressing common regional challenges; calls for these countries to be fully and effectively involved in all steps of EUSAIR’s implementation and for them to improve their connectivity among themselves and with the rest of the EU, including the Adriatic-Ionian Corridor; calls for special attention to be paid, and measures to be taken to encourage, the completion of the remaining stretches of the pan-European transport corridors in South East Europe, including Corridors V, VI, VIII and X, which will improve the region’s overall connectivity with the EU Member States; calls for their significant disparities and deficits in infrastructure to be tackled, in particular as regards road and rail networks, intermodal connections and traffic management systems; encourages the development of synergies and coordinated policies between the EU, the relevant Member States and the South East Europe countries;
