Emphasises the negapositive effects of association agreements on the economies of ACP countries; takes the view that the new partnership will need to be based on developing the countries’ productive capacities, completing the most advantageous regional integration processes, protecting traditional agriculture, and combating land grabbing, the privatisation of national natural resources and public servic and the importance of these agreements for ACP regional integration; considers that all future ACP- EU development and economic cooperation, as well as all trade and investment arrangements should be such as to ensure that no ACP country is left in a les,s and over-exploitadvantaged position;
