(1) The development, deployment and use of artificial intelligence, robotics and related technologies, including the software, algorithms and data used or produced by such technologies, are based on a desire to serve society. They can entail opportunities and risks, which should be addressed and regulated by an efficient, forward- looking and comprehensive legal framework of ethical principles to be complied with from the moment of the development and deployment of such technologies to their use.
