. – Glasao sam protiv jer nisu osigurani mehanizmi za učinkovito nadgledanje potrošnje namijenjenih sredstava u iznosima od više milijardi eura, a koje bez adekvatnog nadzora lako mogu postati plijen virusno-pandemijskih profitera.Nadalje, do sada nisu poduzete potrebne mjere za utvrđivanje potpunih i relevantnih podataka te ujednačavanje načina klasifikacije oboljelih i umrlih od bolesti COVID-19 na cijelom području EU-a, već svaka država članica temeljem vlastitih kriterija utvrđuje i prezentira broj oboljelih i preminulih.

Vođenje istraga, kazneni progon i pokretanje sudskih postupaka protiv počinitelja kaznenih djela usmjerenih protiv financijskih interesa Europske unije zahtijevaju znatna financijska sredstva. U suprotnome, Ured europskoga javnog tužitelja neće moći isporučiti one rezultate koji se od njega u osnivačkim dokumentima očekuju, tj. neće biti u mogućnosti učinkovito zaštititi financijske interese EU-a i svih građana.Pozivam Europsku komisiju i Europski parlament na daljnje povećanje sredstava za Ured europskoga javnog tužitelja.

. – Glasao sam protiv jer rezolucija ne sadrži ni jednu konkretnu mjeru. Ovakav prijedlog rezolucije predstavlja samo i isključivo politički pamflet.Izražavanje zabrinutosti i pozivanje komisije, država članica, raznih agencija da nešto učine ili ne učine, izražavanje namjera, isticanje važnosti i pozdravljanje namjera, poticanje i naglašavanje općepoznatih činjenica, vjerovanje u trenutak u kojem je potrebno iskoristiti prilike i slično, bez ikakvih konkretnih mjera je u potpunosti bez ikakve konkretne svrhe i smisla. Stoga je nisam u mogućnosti podržati.
