Notes that the global humanitarian funding gap continues to grow; stresses that the humanitarian aid instrument must receive significantly more funding in the revised MFF to match the EU’s ambition to be a leading humanitarian donor and to play a more visible role as a peacemaker in the current geopolitical context, given the EU’s economic strength and geographical reach;
