Considers that more could be done to ensure that European works of significant cultural importance, including but not limited to award-winning films, are available and promoted throughout the European Union, with dubbing or subtitling in the 24 official languages; calls on the Commission to suggest, in partnership with the industry, an initiative in this regard, for example by supporting the distribution in Europe of films that have competed for the LUX Audience Award;
