Highlights the new type of anti- suit injunction (ASI) with extra-territorial effect that has been issued by some third countries, which aims to deprive the foreign counterpart of its right to initiate legal proceedings against an entity of a third country, including in any EU country, as highlighted by the Commission in DG Trade’s report on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights in third countries.
