Calls on the Commission and the Member States to improve work-life balance and gender equality and to ensure equal pay for equal work at the same place; calls for more efforts to close the gender pay and pensions gaps, and to tackle disincentives for women to workgap which stands in the EU at 16% and has only changed minimally over the last decade and pensions gaps, and to tackle disincentives for women to work; therefore calls on the Commission to step up its efforts to increase women’s employment rate in Europe and facilitate their access to the labour market, for example by providing further incentive to promote women entrepreneurship; calls for accessible and affordable quality childcare and early education services, as well as care services for those reliant on care, including the elderly;
