Underlines the role that natural gas, in particular bio-methane and synthetic methane, and alternative fuels as defined in Article 2 of Directive 2014/94/EU on the deployment of alternative fuels infrastructure, could play in the transition towards the decarbonisation of the transport sector, especially with regard to shipping, aviation and HDVs.
