Calls on the Commission and the Member States to connect the NEB to the Renovation Wave, taking advantage of the innovative solutions that the project offers in the comprehensive renovation of our building stock, including with regard to energy efficiency; warns that the implementation of the NEB and the Renovation Wave may be hampered because of regulatory obstacles and lack of capacity on the part of public authorities; urges all public authorities to break down the existing barriers that hamper renovation and, in particular, the excessive length of the administrative procedures for granting licences;
