Recalls that food is a valuable and limited resource which has a considerable impact on health, the environment and development; urges the Commission to propose to the Union a comprehensive food policy which, instead of a sectoral approach, brings together under the umbrella of a single comprehensive policy aspects which are currently considered in a fragmented manner;
