Welcomes the Rule of Law Regulation on a general regime of conditionality for the protection of the Union budget to protect CAP and Cohesion spending; underlines that the Regulation entered into force on1 January 2021; urges the Commission do its utmost to fully apply the Regulation without delay; recalls that the Parliament can hold the Commission to account with regard to its application of the Regulation, including any unjustified delays, through an action for failure to act under Article 265 TFEU;
