Welcomes the fact that renewable energy is being developed in the Member States with a view to meeting the targets set for 2020; calls on the Commission to propose rational goals up to 2030, which should take into account the proportion of electricity to bfulfil the goals of promoting renewable generated from renewable sources, energy efficiency, clean conventional energy technologies, and CO2 storage;gy, reduce greenhouse gas emission, energy efficiency and security of supply ensuring the achievement of the medium- to long term climate reduction targets and industrial competitiveness.
