Calls on the Commission and Member States to recognise the value of entrepreneurship for work-life balance and to expand overall support for female labour market participation; looks forward, in the aftermath of the decision to withdraw the proposal to amend the Maternity leave Directive, to a constructive dialogue amongst institutions to see how best to support these work-life balance policies; calls upon the Commission to present, until the end of 2016, concrete steps, including legislative proposals, for increasing participation of women in the labour market by improving work- life balance;
