Encourages the Commission, having regard to the changes in the Arctic region acknowledged in its Space Strategy for Europe (COM(2016)705), to look into the scope for making greater use of its current and prospective satellite programmes there, including Galileo and Copernicus, and to take account of user needs under the GOVSATCOM initiative;
