Underlines the need for special support for and protection of women and children victims of gender-based violence, including domestic violence, sexual harassment, prostitution and human trafficking and, harmful traditional practices, such as forced marriages, female genital mutilation and ‘honour crimes’; calls on the Commission and the Member States to adopt and continually improve legislation, and to take concrete measures to protect victims, prosecute aggressors and prevent violence;
