Stresses the need for the EU, in order to increase wealth and living standards among the poorest, to specifically target some of its trade-related assistance towards building local and regional trade capacity within and among these countries; welcomes the objectives of the Development Cooperation Instrument, which highlights the priorities of employment and growth in developing countries;
