Encourages the Member States to consider adopting measures towards the recognition of school periods abroad that do not result in a diploma or qualification; invites, in this regard, the Commission to propose guidelines for recognition of school periods abroad, taking into consideration the existing best practices of Member States, the principle of mutual appreciation between educational systems, the key- competencies-based approach, as well as the specificities of national educational systems and cultures;
