Expresses concern over economic activity that has led to environmental damage in protected areas, such as the hydropower plants along the Vjosa river; urges the authorities to step up environmental impact assessments and public consultations on such projects; again calls on Albania to carry out relevant measurements concerning waste management and to take further steps to combat improper waste disposal and the removal of waste that has been improperly disposed of, especially marine litter;
