4a. Asks the Commission and the Member States to give the reform of the Common Fisheries Policy an international dimension in order to make progress towards a fisheries model focused on food security, social justice and the conservation and sustainable management of fish stocks;

Calls on the Commission and Member States to give an overall assessment of the FPAs with third countries, aiming at striking a balance between economic interests and the promotion of sustainable fisheries, strengthening EU partner countries' capacity to guarantee sustainable fishing in their own waters, enhancing food security and local employment in the sector;
