Calls on the Commission to ensure that the membership of expert groups and similar entities providing it with advice is accurately and consistently balanced, with due regard to participants level of expertise and up-to-date experience of the issues under discussion, and categorised as to the nature of the interests represented by members, in line with the European Ombudsman’s recommendations in the context of own-initiative inquiry OI/6/2014/NF;
