When entering into a contractual agreement with his payment services provider, the consumer shall be able to decide whether or not he needs two or more different brands of payment instruments on his card, telecommunication, digital or IT device. In good time before the contract is signed, the payment service provider shall provide the consumer with clear and objective information on all the payment brands available and their characteristics (functionalities, cost, security).
