Believes that regulatory provisions to ensure the compatibility with Galileo and EGNOS of certain transport infrastructure receivers, not least in strategic future sectors such as self- driving and connected cars and pilotless planes, are needed to promote the implementation of European space solutions in the transport sector.

Believes that in these proven circumstances of non-reciprocity in the opening-up of institutional markets in the highly strategic sector of satellite launches, the EU must also, along with its partners, give itself a preference for European launch vehicles on its institutional markets for satellites launches under European programmes.
