Notes with concern the inadequacy of and lack of access to social protection systems for atypical workers and the self- employed; calls on Member States to implement measures to address these issues, notably following the Council recommendation on access to social protection for workers and the self- employed agreed on 6 December 2018; welcomes this recommendation as a first step and the Commission's commitment to strengthen social protection systems in Europe, but stresses that more needs to be done to ensure access to social protection for all;

Calls on the Commission and the Member States to step up efforts towards the further inclusion of people with disabilities in the labour market by removing barriers and creating incentives for their employment, ensuring them access to education and training, and creating incentives for their employment and employability; recalls that the guiding principles which underlie the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), such as full and effective participation and inclusion in society, equality of opportunity and accessibility, must be fully implemented at both EU and national levels;
