Calls on the Commission and the Member States to improve the collection of reliable and comparable data on occupational diseases and occupational exposures with a view to identifying best practices and creating a common database on occupational exposures; observes that these statistical databases must be kept up to date so that, when preparing decisions concerning necessary measures, they can be fully taken into account;
