Recalls that developing countries, - in particular Least Developed Countries and Small Island Developing States, have contributed the least to climate change-, are the most vulnerable to the adverse effects of climate change and have the least capacity to adapt; calls for adaptation support and loss and damage to be essential elements of the Paris agreement guaranteeing therefore that their adaptation needs will be met both in the short and in the long-term;
