Calls on Member States to introduce measures to prevent and combat violence and harassment at the workplace through policies which set out prevention measures, effective, transparent and confidential procedures to deal with complaints, strong and dissuasive sanctions for perpetrators, and comprehensive information to ensure that workers understand policies and procedures; stresses that these measures should not be incorporated into existing structures if these structures already have inbuilt gender barriers;
