Emphasises the importance of the Milk Market Observatory (MMO) in disseminating and analysing market data and calls for an increased role for the MMO as a management tool and not only as an observation tool; recommends that the Commission take the necessary action to ensure that the MMO is in a position to communicate early warnings, on the one hand to produce accurate data in real time, and on the other hand to communicate early warnings, based on market analysis and predictive tools, to the Commission, Member States and relevant stakeholders, when the market situation so requires; considers that the information provided by the MMO should involve updates on market and price trends, and should be easily accessible and user- friendly for all stakeholders. These data should integrate all production costs and the interactions between beef and milk production;
