Emphasises the negative effects of association agreements on the economies of ACP countries; takes the view that the new partnership will need to be based on developing the countries’ productive capacities, completing the most advantageous regional integration processes, protecting and encouraging traditional agriculture, and combating land grabbing, the privatisation of national natural resources and public services, and over- exploitation;

Invites ACP countries to audit their debts with a view to their complete elimination, and invites them to claim reparations for the spoliation of natural resources by foreign multinationals and others, and for the wars that have been sparked; supports the United Nations working group on an international framework for sovereign debt restructuring;
