Is concerned about the variety and complexity of the existing financial instruments (Horizon 2020, European Structural and Investment Funds, European Fund for Sustainable Development, European Fund for Strategic Investments, etc.) and insists that efforts be made to simplify and coordinate these so that local authorities and small project promoters have easier access to funding sources; maintains that the coordination of these instruments must not mean that ESI Funds are substituted in favour of the EFSI;
