Stresses the importance of preventing the EU’s trading partners from engaging in anti-competitive practices, including social or environmental dumping, or the dumping of cheap products in Europe, as this could de-stabilise European industry; calls to this end for the anti-dumping and anti-subsidy procedures to be speeded up and for the estimated harm done to European industry to be evaluated in such a way as to have the strongest deterrent effect possible;
