Stresses that it is paradoxical on the one hand to pursue a costly and inhibiting policy of greening while on the other hand conducting trade negotiations with major agricultural producing countries which do not abide by the same standards, and calls for the free trade negotiations with the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand to be suspended; considers it inappropriate to resume discussion of an EU-MERCOSUR trade agreement.
