16. Regrets that the whistleblower file of the Committee’s former internal auditor is still not closed; stresses that, to date, the Committee has not acted on the requests addressed to it by Parliament in previous discharge resolutions; reiterates its request that the Committee officially recognise the status of internal auditor as referring to a person disclosing information in good faith within the meaning of Article 22b of the Staff Regulations; insists that the Committee do its utmost to find a just, honourable and equitable settlement of the case as soon as possible; requests that the Committee keep Parliament informed of its progress;
