Points to the importance of EU-UN partnership in addressing the root causes and consequences of global refugee crises and humanitarian emergencies; reiterates the fundamental importance of coordinated action by all international actors at the same time as providing technical assistance and mobilising adequate resources;, in order to protect the most vulnerable population, including children; and calls, therefore, for further cooperation and dialogue in the preparation of the 2016 World Humanitarian Summit.
