Urges Member States to actively involve all stakeholders in the decision-making procedures concerning the macro-region, particularly local communities, which must be able to exercise their right to protect their environment and health when these are put in danger by polluting and dangerous economic activities or by invasive or environmentally harmful infrastructure.
