Calls on Serbia to fully implement the connectivity reform measures in the energy sector; encourages Serbia to develop competition in the gas market and to take measures to improve alignment with the acquis in the fields of energy efficiency and renewable energy; stresses the need to develop Serbia's gas and electricity interconnections with its neighbours; encourages Serbia to speed up technical and budgetary preparations of the Bulgaria-Serbia gas interconnector, which will allow EU funding for this project;
