Recalls that the ‘yellow card’ notification should be seen as a means to encourage the Vietnamese authorities to persevere in their efforts to tackle IUU fishing activities; believes that further extension of the ‘yellow card’ should be accompanied by clear operational targets and timelines; recalls also that possible revocation must be conditional on the full and effective implementation of all recommendations made by the Union in 2017;
