Believes that, in order to match European and national policies on growth and guarantee their suitability on the ground, it is crucial to strengthen the role of the social partners at both European and national level; stresses that, in order to progress with convergence and balance competitiveness and fairness, social dialogue must be pursued in all the phases of the Semester; In this sense, welcomes the European Commission's efforts to relaunch social dialogue and the streamlined approach introduced by the AGS 2015. However, points out that the situation remains weak at national level. In this sense, highlights the importance of national parliaments debating country reports and country-specific recommendations and voting on national reform programmes and of a proper consultation and association with social partners;
