Calls on the EU institutions to take a particular focus on the rights of children with disabilities and the needs of their families, assess current EU compatibility with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and work to remove all obstacles faced by children with disabilities in their day-to-day lives by offering their families proper support, including through the provision of grants and specific services;
