Calls on the Commission to develop a European mental health strategy as an appropriate follow-up to the European Framework for Action on Mental Health and to improve the EU Compass for Action on Mental Health and Well-Being; calls on the Member States in particular to include in their national recovery and resilience plans funds to improve neuropsychiatric services for children and young people, who suffered most as a result of the measures adopted during the pandemic, which led to increased social hardship, poverty and psychological suffering, with dramatic consequences;
