Calls on the Commission, together with the Member States, to improve conditions for women in rural areas, and to provide not only adequate informational material on support possibilities specifically aimed at women farmers and women in rural areas, but also access to education and credit and the need for strategies to encourage and support women's entrepreneurial initiatives as they can provide women with the confidence they need to start their own businesses, while also promoting the establishment of associations and the provision of wide-ranging professional diversification advice;
