Emphasises that the global nature of the COVID-19 pandemic requires a global response; highlights the vulnerable position of women and girls in many parts of the world in relation to COVID-19, such as access to healthcare, including SRHR, vulnerability to violence, including forced FGM and child marriage, employment status, access to education and extreme poverty and hunger; underlines the importance of supporting women’s rights defenders and women’s rights organisations;
