Is aware of the fact that cohesion policy funding, which represents costs the European taxpayer EUR 454 billion at current prices for the 2014-2020 period (32.5 % of the EU budget), is aimed mainly at promoting investment, employment and growth, and is one of the most important and comprehensive policies for strengthening economic, social and territorial cohesion;
