Calls on countries from the Central Asia region to properly implement or introduce legislations which prohibit all forms of violence and discrimination against women, including sexual, physical, physiological and economic abuse; to treat violence against women as a criminal offence; to properly investigate all reported cases; and to implement measures to guarantee protection, assistance and access to justice for the victims, together with mechanisms to ensure the enforcement of the law;
